Welcome to MacDonald Ranches!
MacDonald Ranches is a Salers and Optimizer composite seedstock provider owned and operated by Bill and Linda MacDonald along with their son, Will, and his wife, Jerilyn. The ranch headquarters is located about 10 miles southeast of Bismarck, North Dakota on the bluffs overlooking the north banks of the Missouri River along scenic State Highway 1804, so-named for the year Lewis and Clark traveled up the Missouri on their historic voyage. Our family has been in the beef cattle seedstock business since 1939 and has made a living on the same ranch since Bill’s grandfather homesteaded here in the 1870’s. Read the whole story...

Performance Power 2013 - Special Feature - ADDED LOT
Selling in Performance Power 2013 will be a special feature female selling as an added lot, LOT 165X. MAC ZAHARA 75Z is a 5/8 Salers and 3/8 Angus daughter of OPP SABER 847U that was donated to the NDSU Judging Club for a raffle fundraiser. The raffle raised significant funds for the NDSU Judging Team and the recipient of the heifer has donated her back to be auctioned with additional sale funds over $1200 also going to support the NDSU Judging Team. We are pleased to be able to partner with NDSU Animal Science in this way. Take a close look at this female. She is thick, gentle, halter broke and ready to show and was selected from the very top of our replacement heifer pen.
